Due to the economic crisis, Wilhelmina is canceling official receipts and gala clothes. There is more color in the Orange family again through the marriage of Bernhard and Juliana, even though the husband comes from the hated Hitler Germany. When the Second World War actually breaks out, the young generation and the idea of innovation give the Queen new inspiration in London.
