Fan Wei is a Chinese film and television actor, director, singer and model, born in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China. He graduated from the Department of Performing Arts of the Nanjing Academy of Arts. In 2004, when he participated in the Oriental Satellite TV draft entertainment show " My Type My Show " and won the top 9 of the National Finals. In 2008, he formed a male singing group M2 with Liu Yan, thus officially debuting his professional career. In 2012, he moved to Beijing and worked as a commercial agent for celebrities. In 2015, he wrote and directed the first personal short film, Rossmore Ave. In 2016 and following years, he starred is several TV dramas. On December 16, 2019, his wife, Huang Lu, announced She and Fan Wei are divorced.
